PennGrade 1 OIL
Designed for classic, historic, vintage,
hot rod, muscle car and racing engines

We are proud to be a distributor of high-performance motor oils made right here in Pennsylvania.

The PennGrade refinery in Bradford, Pa., (formerly known as Brad Penn) the oldest continuously operating lube oil refinery in the United States, still refines 100% Pennsylvania grade crude, one of the best sources of high quality lubricant base stocks in the world.

PennGrade 1 High Performance oils cling like no other to your highly stressed engine parts, and have enhanced levels of zinc and phosporous (ZDDP) for added protection.

Because PennGrade uses only one crude stock, its refined products are of consistently high quality and performance. The Bradford refinery is the home of “The Green Oil®” — the unique green color and performance that sets PennGrade oils apart from the competition.

K&T Vintage Sports Cars stocks the following
PennGrade 1 oils:

Stacks Image 203
SAE 30 BREAK-IN OIL
SAE 30 mono-grade oil formulated specifically to meet the critical lubrication needs of new engines during break-in while allowing proper seating of rings and component “run-in.”

Enhanced levels of “zinc” [zinc dialkyldithiophosphates a.k.a. ZDDP] and superior oil film strength from PennGrade® base oils offer complete anti-wear, anti-scuffing protection for even the most demanding of applications such as those presented by break-in of engines with “flat tappet” cams.
SAE 0W-30 PARTIAL SYNTHETIC
A high-performance, lighter viscosity oil specifically designed to maximize horsepower while protecting critical engine parts.
SAE 10W-30 PARTIAL SYNTHETIC
A versatile high-performance oil suitable for engines used both on the street and on the track. The multi-viscosity grade and synthetic components facilitate cold starting and quicker engine warm-up while ensuring adequate engine protection during competition.
SAE 10W-40 PARTIAL SYNTHETIC
Designed to meet the lubrication demands of traditional classic and muscle car engines as well as high-performance competition engines. Offers the multi-viscosity advantages of faster oil flow and engine warm up as well as film strength and engine component anti-wear protection.
SAE 15W-40 PARTIAL SYNTHETIC
A multi-viscosity option for engines exposed to higher temperatures and mixed ambient conditions, with film strength and performance in a wide range of operating situations.

SAE 20W-50 PARTIAL SYNTHETIC
Designed to offer higher performance engines the cold temperature operational benefits of an SAE “20W” engine oil while providing the desired film strength; sealing abilities; bearing, crankshaft, piston ring and valvetrain component anti-wear protection of an SAE 50 weight oil at normal engine operating temperatures.

Increased levels of “zinc” [zinc dialkyldithiophosphates a.k.a. ZDDP] provide outstanding anti-wear protection for engines with either “flat tappet” or roller type cams.

PennGrade® base oils provide excellent film strength while synthetic stocks enhance performance over a wide range of operating temperatures and conditions. Oxidation and foam inhibitors offer protection against thermal degradation and air entrainment. Excellent high temperature high shear performance
RACING OILS
SAE 30 HIGH-PERFORMANCE RACING OIL
A lighter straight-grade viscosity oil, offering film strength and detergency package. A good choice for vintage and air-cooled applications requiring a straight grade oil, including legacy street rods and muscle cars.

SAE 40 HIGH-PERFORMANCE
RACING OIL

Designed to provide excellent protection for classic car and competition engines where a single vicosity, mono-grade oil is preferred. Increased levels of “zinc” [zinc dialkyldithiophosphates a.k.a. ZDDP] provide enhanced anti-wear, anti-scuffing protection for engines employing either “flat tappet” or roller type cams. PennGrade® base oils provide excellent film strength. Oxidation and foam inhibitors offer protection against thermal degradation and air entrainment
SAE 50 HIGH-PERFORMANCE RACING OIL
Heavy viscosity, straight-grade motor oil designed to provide superior lubrication to high-performance competition engines fueled by gasoline, methanol or nitromethane. Superior alcohol separation assures continual lubricant protection to the engine.
